An environment adapted to their needs
The Siberian cat like any other cat needs a daily workout in order to maintain a good psychological balance.
At the Siberian Express cattery, we optimised outside spaces so cats benefit at least a 10 m2 playground each. In their living spaces we organised volumes creating parkour with shelves, cat trees, suspension bridges, logs etc...)
In addition to this, we visit them on daily basis so they keep a strong link with human beings, they do appreciate a lot. (pads, brushing sessions, kisses and games).
Finally, they pay us visit at home when circumstances allow. (out of heat period or pregnancy).
In our cattery, we sanitise both facilities and cats so they strive in a high level healthy environment. To achieve that goal we use vacuum cleaner, steam cleaner (to kill any pest and larva) as well as bactericidal.

Socialised kittens
At Siberian Express, kittens are born in our nursery set in our family home. When delivering, Dams are under monitoring and most of them demand our presence.
During the very first days of kittens, we survey their good development but limit our interactions. When they reach 10 days old kittens open their eyes and gently explore their environment. From this period, we slightly augment our interactions with them so they are used to these strange cats they think we are.
Until they turn 2 months old they remain safe in the nursery with their mother but interact with the whole family. After being vaccinated, they discover if the weather permits it our yard and new sounds (dogs barking, children playing, birds, etc.).
By 3 months, they are now ready to join their new family being totally educated as a cat by their mum and brotherhood as well as trained to face a family environment (vacuum cleaner, TV set and children games)
